mindthemovementgap was born out of a deep passion for learning to connect with the body, while incorporating the playfulness lots of us miss out on in adult life.
Sedentary lifestyles are becoming the norm and we are getting ill as a result. Movement is intrinsic and more necessary than ever.
Inspired by the stories of many as well as personal experiences with burnout and post traumatic stress, mtmg was born from a hope to offer space for self-exploration and restoration in a world that creates imbalance (plus a sprinke of ADHD that meant I took on loads of creative projects, and now I'm seeing them through, only this time gently, curiously, and with longevity in mind).
With a focus on expression, self understanding and stress management, using research in neuroplasticity and somatics, mgtmg is dedicated to guiding you towards both regenerative rest and play through movement and music.
